Gaborone Raid Documentary series explores the contribution made by Batswana in the liberation struggle of South Africa. Each episode explores the challenges faced by the then South African refugees in Botswana and the sacrifice made by Batswana to help fellow neighbours. The documentary’s focus is to bring alive the contribution and sacrifices made by the people of Botswana and affirms the long-standing relationship between Botswana and South Africa. The film is told through the 1985 raid where lots of people lost their lives including Batswana.
